Dance Program Faculty since 1997, Cher teaches Ballet Technique and Dance History. She danced ballet professionally for 11 years, performing principal roles with companies in the US and Europe. Here at WWU, Cher always serves as Assistant Director of the Dance Program, and has recently worked as a Writing Faculty Fellow and Transitions Advisor. |

Antonella Antonini and Alan Stein

Antonella has a Ph.D. in Neurophysiology from the Scuola Normale in Pisa, Italy. Her research focused on Developmental Neurobiology and she has authored numerous publications. Alan has a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Wharton Business School. He specialized in the design of medical equipment and started several companies in the Silicon Valley. Both have traveled extensively and have been able to satisfy first-hand their passion for Art History. Antonella is enrolling at WWU in the Fall to complete an Art History degree. Their resumes reflect their international background and scientific training that gives them an interesting perspective on Art, History and Culture. |
Deborah Currier

Associate Professor of History/Theatre in Education, Deb has a Ph.D. from the University of Oregon. Here at WWU she writes and directs the WWU Multicultural Outreach Touring Project and has presented and published works regarding incorporating academic service-learning into the higher theater-in-education curriculum. She teaches Theatre History, Dramatic Literature, Children’s Theatre, Secondary Theatre Techniques, Creativity Across the Curriculum, and Puppetry. |
Tim Fitzpatrick

Assistant Professor of Choral Music and Vocal Education here at WWU, Tim is a versatile musician with many areas of expertise. He has a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Texas and a Master of Music degree in Choral conducting from WWU. His choirs have toured Canada and have recently been featured at the Northwestern ACDA Division Convention. |
