This is for all you temporary residents out there:

ok, so I just found out that I'll be moving out of my dorm by the end of this week. I knew I was in temporary housing...I just didn't know it would only be like a week and a half!

I have to say that I will be really sad to leave my dormmate (regardless of the fact that she was the RA- I still loved her!)...I know some kids were probably not 'psyched' when they found out they were in temp. housing with an RA. I was. I thought of all the advantages to having an RA as a roommate: she knew her way around campus, she could answer all my questions, she would def watch out for me and a plethora of other things.

The only disadvantages to moving out are: readjusting to another roommate and repacking and re-unpacking (is that even a word?) all of my crap.

I just wanted to let you know that I know how you feel...:) So have fun moving and remember this is just another opportunity to make friends and experience new things!

Re-doing(isn't it word?) something always makes me bother. My habit is fogetting something so I usually do something several times. However, even though repacking and re-unpacking make bother, moving out has good chances to do new things. It surely deserves to repack and re-unpack.

I hope your move went well and you're adjusting well to your new floor or hall and new roommate! I'm sure the RA you lived with - even if only for a week and a half - would love to stay in touch too. Best wishes!
