Here is a pic of me- hanging out with two of my friends!

Zach....I totally agree. When I came to college, I expected it to be a challenge...I didn't expect it to be a repeat of high school. The same old habits- not studying, just being able to skate by without doing much work, improv 10 min speeches, etc....I don't know....maybe life is just like that....or perhaps we are just in easy classes right now...when we get into classes that interest us and are a higher level than we'll really have to hit the books....I'd think...but whatever...I'm just going to embrace the fact that everything is easy riht now and go hang out with my friends!

I think a lot of people have the expectation that college will be very challenging compared to high school, and it has been my experience that it is not a whole lot different. Different people definitely have different experience, but I graduate this spring and have barely worked at all the last three years, everything has been pretty easy.

I too am graduating in the Spring and let me be the first to tell you not everything is easy. Freshmen year is a joke, it is a time to play meet new people and yes not really study. I did the same thing and my grades that year are nothing compared to now. With each year you will increase your work load but the positive side is that it is in your major and things you really enjoy. So the hard work doesn't feel as hard. Although it still feels like high school, just wait. With each year you will grow even more as an independent adult and realize that college isn't just about learning inside class but outside as well. Best of luck.
