  • Art 109, Visual Dialogue, (Monique Kerman) 3cr, HUM, CRN: 43804
    Introduction to ideas and artists in 20th century art with an emphasis on the contemporary. Examines concepts of content, meaning, and cultural interrelationships in art, and questions the nature, function, and importance of art in contemporary society.
  • Geology 101 with Lab, Introduction to Geology, (Thor Hansen) 4cr, LSCI, CRN: 41501
    Geology for non-science majors. Major ideas of modern geoscience; the study of rocks and minerals, plate tectonics, geologic time, the hydrologic cycle; processes that have produced the Earth and its landforms. Some lecture sections will be focused on specific topics within the geological sciences, such as planetary geology, climate and climate change, or National Parks. Includes
