Both science and religion claim to make sense of broad areas of human experience. As academic disciplines they have developed specific methods of gathering and assessing evidence and for evaluating theclaims made by competing theories. Because the study of religion draws on many disciplines within the humanities and social sciences, this cluster will give students a space to think “deeply” about what constitutes critical thinking within a wide range of academic disciplines. Make connections with professors and peers and examine perspectives across different fields of study. Learn to find and evaluate information and collaborate with peers through discussions, projects, and presentations. Explore academic goals, campus resources, and enhance skills for learning in college.
