  • Anthropology 201, Introduction to Cultural Anthropology, (Kathleen Saunders) 5cr, SSC, CRN: 41679
    The study of societies that contrast with Western civilization, leading to an acquaintance with the concept of culture and its importance to an understanding of human behavior. Emphasis on understanding each culture from its own point of view rather than from our own.
  • Psychology 101, Introduction to Psychology, (Lena Ericksen) 5cr, SSC, CRN: 41895
    Examination of basic psychological processes utilizing results of research investigations: participation in at least two experiments or equivalent activities is expected.
  • Seminar 101, Perspectives on Learning, (Justina Brown) 2cr, CRN: 42190
    Discover the connections between psychology and anthropology and the relationships among people, behavior, and social and cultural ties. Examine issues of ethnicity, race, gender, sexual orientation and mental health from different perspectives. Make connections with professors and examine perspectives across different fields of study. Collaborate with peers through discussions, projects, and presentations.
