Below is the timeline for the two years of the multicultural faculty fellowship at Woodring College of Education.

Fall 2008

Year Two

  • Development of collaborative inquiry group.
  • Regular meetings
  • Focus on literature (Affirming Diversity).
  • Critical thinking about definitions of multicultural education and C.E.E.D mission.
  • Critical investigations and academic development in teaching from multiple perspectives.
  • Support in incorporating multicultural concepts in a chosen syllabus or research.
  • Implementation of multicultural lessons and curriculum within chosen course or further developing research through a multicultural lens.
  • Continued focus on literature.
  • Private workshop with guest speaker
  • Continued collaborative support for maintenance of the sociopolitical concepts of multicultural education.
  • Provide leadership for new cohort.
